Why are you a Believer?
Maybe you just exploring this world and not sure, Maybe you still trying to piece it all together.. thats ok I would love to hear your stories and about your encounters..
What has made you a believer?
what is making you question?
OMG, YES!!! a very firm believer in the paranormal. absolute FIRM BELIEVER! WITHOUT A SKERRIC OF DOUBT!!!
I believe because of all my experiences all my life. I can remember when I was a child, seeing spirits, and hearing them too--but knowing that my mother was a psychic-medium, we kids always just figured when we saw a spirit in the house, they werre there to 'see' mom.
we never expected that WE also had the ability-we just didn't think of it, tbh. In fact, we figured that since we saw them, that everyone saw them. I don't know--we must have been stupid kids,
but we knew mom read for people, often saw spirits and would tell clients about who and what she saw, etc. So, we never realized that we could also talk to them and they were there to see US-and not mom.
We did know that a lot of people didn't 'approve' of this. Though my mother and her family were all psychics and in 'the trade', we were all raised in a strict Catholic faith and knew that we were not suppose to 'talk about this stuff'. We just accepted whatever my mother told us and never questioned her.

I can remember living in one home as a child, and there were 2 floors to this house. at the top of the stairs, my parents bedroom sat to the immediate right and you had to walk down this long (often dark) hallway past my brothers bed room and finally get to our bedroom and the bathroom just beyond.
As kids we were ALL a bit fearful of going upstairs, because my mother was often visited by spirits in her sleep. We often would go upstairs and 'see' spirits standing there in the hallway, either by her bedroom door or at the end of the hallway-by the bathroom.
In this house, we also had unusual 'things' happen--spirit activities. Spirits walking up the stairs to my mothers bedroom for instance. We would OFTEN see things like this.
My parents moved to another home years later--all on one floor-and the same thing again--spirits always seemed to be in the back of the house where the bedrooms and bathrooms were. It was in this house that a dear deceased neighbor lady came to visit my mother in her sleep--and shook her to wake her up. She told my mother that she came to get her husband and take him with her and wanted to come by and say hello to mom first. A few days later, we found out that this man did indeed die in his home of a massive heart attack and was not found for a few days.
The next house they bought was a split foyer, and we ALWAYS saw spirits all over that house! I can recall seeing one that appeared to run down the hallway--and I was not the only one to see that. We also have a picture somewhere - that my visiting uncle took, showing my mother and two others in the kitchen and also in that picture are 3 deceased family members---one being my mothers deceased mom, laughing. She had been gone for about 10+ years at that time.
On the deck of that house another picture shows my grandfather standing there--and he had been dead for over 20yrs. when that picture was taken, again by my uncle--who was NOT a believer--and a professional photographer. HE didn't believe till he developed that film!
we also have some tape recordings where you can hear the spirits talking to my mother and calling out to her. We were always able to recognize the voices of these people and many were deceased years before my parents moved into any of these homes.
Most recently, one story that makes me smile a great deal is when my daughter was putting her daughter to bed. The granddaughter was barely 2yrs. old and still sleeping in the crib. She was always able to pick out 3 stuffed animals to take to bed with her--and cried this one night because she wanted 4. My daughter wouldn't allow 4, only 3--that was 'THE RULE'. In the morning, the daughter went into the bedroom to get her out of the crib and there in the crib is the 4th stuffed animal, though it was the night before up on a shelf way high above the granddaughters reach and on the other side of the room from her crib!
That and my father often will come through (he's been deceased since the granddaughter was 6mos. old and tell me about the daughters home, though he has never been in that home.
I have loads of stories like this--from when I was a child up to the present day. Things continue to occur and I will NEVER not believe in the paranormal.
