PostSubject: Mind over Ailment   7/1/2013, 7:09 pm

Once upon a time I believed in the power of medicine, and naturally believed in what the doctors said. I went to the hospital for a cough and went out diagnosed with emphysema. Every morning afterwards my lungs burned on fire, and it was getting difficult to breathe. I started to wonder about the patterns of disease and thought, and i reached the transformative realisation that a diagnosis contains a pattern of expected results. I wondered actually if the pattern exists at all without the diagnosis. i focused on my pain and thought of dissipation and moment existing only here and now. the pain lessoned a little then, just as i projected it. I realised that the pain is the essence of my attention, and as i changed my mind of it the pain would change to match. Everyday for about a week i excercised this prjective fusion with my body, lessoning my pain, and i even began moving around the pain. At first i would envision the pain to move a little bit in a said direction, and then i would watch it move. Everytime I commanded the pain it would move. I started to voice my words with it, initiating and developing a commanding awareness. I started even at this point to percieve the pain as a living spirit, and sure enough it fashioned a perceptual awarness to match. Finally i reached the point of accumilative power to transform the symptoms with a simple command. I said to the disease, you are not emphysema, but are more like a muscle cramping. Sure enough it transformed yet again, and became a simple cramping in my lung region, no more pain! Well not burning at least. I ended up walking the cramp all the way into my armpit, where it stayed. I wondered to myself how can emphysema of the lungs be a simple cramping in my armpit!! I have to admit that my faith in traditional medical sciences failed me then, and the power of dreaming, intent, and selective attention (fusion) became much more ... in the spot light. I no longer have emphysema, burning, or even cramping anymore. well... the occasional cramp does resurface, but less and less it does. it has been over a year now since i jave had any burning sensation. the message here is to not listen to diagnosis` from a doctor, especially detrimental ones. it is better to diagnos yourself, there is no such thing as terminal disease. the human body and mind can cure any ailment. and the power of bodily transformation exists, and is within our minds reach.

i disagree with you on so many levels and from so many experiences....

being mindful of your diseases and disorders, doing your homework on them, and cooperating with doctors is essential...

i have a brother-in-law who i fear for a lot...
he brags he's never see a doc in 40 years!

only time he does see one is in the ER when
he's had a nasty mishap, i.e. nailgunning himself
in the hand, in shock driving himself to the hospital
40 miles away...

i cringe when hear him brag, and his kids follow suit...

lord knows what prescreenings and vacines he's missed....

his wife died with diabetes and heart problems....
i tried to help her, being a diabetic myself....

his son is anorexic and a smoker....
he will not die on my watch, like his mom did....

i lost my exhusband to 3 types of cancer....all cuz he would
not listen to me or his doctors.....

if you sense your doc can be reached, move mountains to
become a tagteam against whatever ails ya....

there is such a thing as a second opinion....
find a doc that will listen...
make him listen, that what you pay for...

Oh, i wouldn't say that doctors are the devil or nothing, i just would be dead now if i had listened to them. Even the doctorial sciences are simply a way of many, and when a better way exists i tend to follow it. it is definately not my intent to bash all the years of medicine, i am just trying to shine light on the power of knowledge, and the minds ability to choose and transform ourselves. sorry if i cam across as one of those against all doctors, because i am really not. i am sure medicine has helped a lot of people, heck we even cured cancer now... with medicines.

i am sorry to hear of your loss, i have never had a loved one, especially a wife or a dear one lost to me. i couldn't even imagine..

thank you for your condolences....

the real joy in in one's medical/health life is finding an openminded
doctor who embraces both 'regular' medicine and procedures and
alternative ones....no matter what is written in the journals or what
their colleagues say...
both my primary care provider and my podiatrist
are that way....allowing me to experiment with other ways plus
the meds and other treatments they give me helps me psychologically
and they get a better more cooperative patient that way....
i.e., with my neuropathy in my feet, i take evening primrose oil and tonic water
instead of getting doped up on narcs or eplileptic drugs...i help my feet
get better and i'm not 'drunk' all day....

gotta shop around for the gifted docs...

I agree with you somnium in SOME ways. I am not ready to say 'don't go to a doctor and instead heal thy self'. However, I do strongly believe that we should work WITH our doctors.

I have to agree with Amethyst on some of this. You need to do your homework and you need to work WITH your doctor. however, I do believe that we can heal ourselves through mind power. I think its amazing that you were able to heal your emphysema. I know of a lot of people who swear that they have cured themselves of terrible health issues in much this same way and I fully believe in it myself.

I think it is a shame that a lot of doctors would laugh at this rather then embrace it and try to convince their patients to do this sort of thing. It cannot HURT you.

Perhaps this is why energy healing works and prayers work--both of which I very much believe in and have been a part of for myself and others.

At any rate, we still have a lot to learn about healings, I think and doctors do too. It reminds me of what my grandfather always said about doctors.

Doctors are only human too and can make mistakes. Its just that they often BURY their mistakes.

AND there are somethings better left to the doctors and nurses...

don't be like my former bro in law....

he caught the flu or at least what he thought was the flu....
instead of getting proof and medicine...he went out to the woods and got some wild mint and balsam sap....and took to his bed for 3 days...he's up and around, but coughing and his voice has changed a lot....
not sure if he even had the flu cuz years ago i caught him dianosing himself in front of the family...to him a side ache was his appendix acting up....it was the worong side and he was just out of shape and breathless...
he swears by hillbillly medicine and yet his youngest son looks like he's anorexic....5'9", 118 lbs....
i'll bet his wife was treated with that hillbilly crapola too....

no, no. I do agree with you, Amethyst. I believe you should see a doctor, but also TALK to them about other ways of healing. I would and do not ever take anything w/o first discussing it with the doctor, as even natural products can interfere with medicines.

I'm on a variety of meds for a variety of health issues that are serious as it is. I don't even take a vitamin w/o first discussing it with the doctor. however, I do discuss 'home remedies' and research it as much as I can and go from there--ALWAYS with my doctors knowledge too.

we have to learn to work together.

For instance, I was diagnosed with severe osteoporosis in my spine and hips. Very bad score. I had known and read up again on how yoga can help with this. I investigated a few classses nearby me, to find a low impact yoga class - designed specifically for seniors (which I am not, but seniors are often suffering from osteoporosis too) and also for osteoporosis. however, upon talking to my doctor about it, at first she was all for it, then not sure. I waited for awhile, did a bit more research on all this. talked to ehr again and she also did more research on it and we determined that while it can be beneficial, my hips and spine are so bad affected, that I'd need a special yoga teacher to work with me. Unfortunately for me, the classes in my area did not have these types of teachers. So, Sad no yoga classes.

But, both my doctor and I worked together on it and I'm glad we did. I thought I may have found something to help me. But, given my scores, I'm just too far along with this disease for it to help and it may just make it worse.

that said, I have also spoken to her on taking glucosamine in addition to the calcium and Vitamin D and the osteo shots I get. She agreed that the glucosamine would be okay, but explained to me what I needed to watch out for. She told me a dose to start with, which I did, but then soon I began experiencing severe knee pain, to the point of collapsing too. Decreased the glucosamine and it cleared up within 10-14 days. So, we found the dosage that works.

sometimes too much of a good thing is NOT a good thing. even those things we think of as 'natural'. vitamins and exercise. Now, she agreed that meditation in any amounts will not hurt me a bit--as long as I didn't cross my legs, etc. Laughing which I do not. I sit in a chair. I listen to a chakra meditation cd that really helps. Nearly a year later, and my pain is just about completely gone now-without the help of many pain drugs. So, I think what I'm doing (with the doctors okay) is helping. THAT is a win win. and that is what you get when you have the RIGHT doctor, willing to listen to you, and both of you do your research and share with each other. cheers

I am used to existing in a world that is telepathic and aware of me and my findings. When I discovered that a simple change of diagnosis had the power to alter the pattern of occurance I got angry with my doctor. I felt like surely he must know what i know, and if that is the case why do doctors ever diagnos people with detrimental conditions? I know that doctors do well for people and I am probably jumping the gun. but still i cant help but wonder.

doctors are very scientific on diagnoses....that's what they're taught
and trained to do...
it's happenstance that a diagnosis may be a bad one....
not the doctors' fault....they have to tell ya what's up with yer body, can't lie to ya...unless they like getting nailed for malpractice....
if not happenstance, something you did to yerself....like type 2 diabetes
can be.....or sometimes neuropathy....in my case, i was in a bad marriage
and depressed and fat so i developed type 2...it was not heriditary or happenstance....i let my sugars go wild, i was in denial i had the disease...
so neuropathy caused by the diabetes and too much sugar in my system and uncontrolled went crazy in my legs...now i fight neuropathy in both my feet , from my toes to my knees....

there's where my doc and i finally agreed...to alternative medicine to treat it...
he'd had me on psychotropic and then epileptic meds for it....i felt like a
was on a drunken binge all the time...i did my homework and found other things that keep it at bay...spraying saline snasal spray on the itchy/burning pain spots, take internally evening primrose oil and tonic water, and keep my feet warm, active, and massaged....and walking more helps too..
meanwhile i work with my doc on the best dosages of my two insulins to get my sugars more level....and exercize to help that even more....

there's a cool website you can check out your doctors on....my doc has a 100% rating! my ENT has one in the 70%....

My ally is a being of choice, and a being of major power. It has taught me that reality is an agreement, Or atleast it can be. Reality can be anything. It taught me that if at any moment I agree to the chance of catching an ailment, then the chance has become active. He taught me long ago, when I used to get sick, that my body can naturally produce advanced anti-toxins, and antibodies, to keep me healthy. I never get sick anymore.

I used to practice manifestation of medications, and mapping advanced relationships within life. We studied the relationship between the mind and the manifestated result. One of the areas we were studying is diabetes. We came to the conclusion that the body can learn from medications, and that the body has the ability to copy or produce (manifest) any known or unknown compound.(think of dreaming when you creatre entire worlds, and everything in it!) We started on an experimental drug that as it regulates the insulin levels in the blood stream actually teaches the body to habituate the levels. This technique becomes active upon your choice and agreement to take this path. The truth is any medication, when you are studying manifestation or alignment of matter and biomatter, can be formed and manipulated to creatre nearly any effect imaginable. The body itself, because of motion can align to any pattern. In scientific terminolgy particles speed up, or accelerate, temporarilty losing the cohesive bonding, however with practice these accelerated particles can be guided to create alternate alignments, or patterns. Positions if you will.

Science does not stop on a fact, in fact it continues to unfold. quantum sciences and quantum physics suggest that every reality exists already, every effect already is, and at the same time is not. To be or not to be remains the question, and this question is perfectly balanced equation when looking to potential. The future is uncharted and in possibility can become anything.

I actually totally agree with you here. When my life wasnt so hectic and I had the time to focus on this area in my life, I found the same things. I never was sick unless i wanted to be, Mainly sick of work and had time out with headaches.

Again agreed!! My husband is right into quantum physics and by what he has tried to teach me this sounds about right to me.
