Being drawn to older decks

I have a deck calling me. I have never read with it! I just got it because i liked it, but when in my hands found it didnt sing to me..
So never read with it!
Now for a week or so now, It has been in my mind.. I can even see the cards in the fore front of my mind!!
Its the 1JJ .... Its not a deck I would say is a beautifully visual deck..
it is rather plain and basic..
I wonder why its calling me? Maybe i am being told to get back to the basics?
Suppose only one way to find out!
I might offer some readings with it! I will offer 3 readings to whoever wants one!

I only have A little bit of Saturday free.. So it will be then when i do them..

Anyone else get a calling from a deck? Its really odd!!

yes, Dancing Bear, I'd love to have a reading. I really could use one on many aspects of my life. Do you wish for a specific question, or can I just ask you to see what the cards feel I need to know right now.

I always have a hard time picking what to concentrate on for a reading--and then also with the wording of said question. So, I generally like to let the cards direct my attention where they feel I am needed to go.

Now, as for do I ever have a deck call out to me? Oh yeah! I recently did a reading for a client--a new client. I generally limit my reading to 30 minutes. But, when I went to actually do the reading, I had this overpowering feeling that I MUST use the faerie oracle. My dilemma was that I was offering a TAROT card reading. so, I figured I'd give her two, and the first one was with the Faerie oracle and hten a 30 minute reading with the tarot.

It was amazing--in fact, in my opinion, after getting her comments, I realized the Faerie oracle was right on the mark--and really a better read then the tarot card one! But, no matter, she got 2 readings for the price of one, she was tickled to death and gave me a tip!

Always follow your gut. If a deck is calling out to you--there is a reason for it!

I would want to say many pths have been searched. you are finally upon a path that truly suites you.
You husband is here too. he finally has a job he enjoys and is happy with his income.
Family life on the immediate level is also looking a bit better.
I have a sneaky suspicion you have been speaking to your guides a bit lately and a few answers have come your way. and a time of change is at hand..
the old is now outmoded and you seem to be going through a huge hcange within yourself.
A spiritual change, more earthy. More hands on too!
Your wishes and dreams do come to frutition in mnay aspects of your life, Romance, Family and Spiritual.
I already know you are about to be a grandmother again.. the cards also indicate this..
I want to say a boy..as I am drawn to the blue.

I think the time ahead of you is going to be a time for you , a time for reflection and letting go of the old habits, sending out love instead of frustration.
It truly is a wonderful spiritual path you will be going on.
Just try to be patient, as you know good things need time to grow to fruition.

well, you got the hubby correct! As for my 'family' life--its still a bit rough with 'my side'. However, I finally feel completely over it. Its like one day I woke up and realized that I am okay w/o them--better in fact. I think it happened because a niece of mine wrote me a very nasty letter, accusing me of all sorts of things--ridiculous things really. Then a 2nd letter and then finally a 3rd one where she was trying to make 'excuses' for her ill behaviour. Mainly because I was not allowing it to upset me or to reply to her demands/accusations. As for the hubby again, yes he LOVES his job! He is re-employed with the job he had before we left New York. At the last moment, they decided not to sell the company after all and were willing to do almost anything to bring Bob back to them. We are so happy to be 'home' again, and he does LOVE his job here. they are a great company to work for.

YES! However, my newest guide doesn't show herself, really. She just speaks to me--and not always a very vocal guide-more like she communicates by pointing me in the right direction and I stumble onto the 'AH HA!' moments. you know? and, then I realize it is a message from my guides. Its almost uncanny sometimes the things that jump out to me at just the right moment!

She is not as easy to deal with as Joe, but I feel that Joe has to take a backseat to this new guide--Ann. Ann is a very highly evolved guide--that is all I really know about her and that (according to Joe) I am a very fortunate person to have her guiding me now.

yes, 50/50, but I do agree with you too. First of all, I 'feel' this baby is a boy, and secondly, many times in past circles and also when my father came to me, he has mentioned he has a baby boy waiting to be born to our daughter and sil. We only have to wait now for the birth! Lets hope he won't take his time coming into this world like our granddaughter did.

I think you are right, DB. I feel like I'm really starting to take off on this spiritual path now and in the right direction. Its all going to go smootly now, I feel. I'm ready for it!
