My deck is tired??

I guess my deck is tired, or i am of it?.
I have had it for years, It is dog eared, I have re-glued the back onto the front , on a few cards.
They were a trusty old deck and i love them,
They seem to be falling out nicely, But i am not reading them as i use to.
I think its me that could be maybe tired of them?
I have meanings that goes with these cards. Combinations that have rung true in the past.
readings that are so bang on its scary. But lately They are good readings, but not as bang on, Like for instance, Someone lost all their Money.. I took this as they lost Job and due to that lost all..
NOPE!! They did lose Everything, but not due to Job.. But due to divorce.
Now nowhere in the Tarot spread mentioned another half anywhere??..
This is unusual for me for this to happen.
I normally get the whole story and able to piece it all together nicely.


So is this me , or is it my cards getting tired and i need to start using another deck for a while??

whenever my guilded deck gets that way, i switch to my stokes' playing cards...
amazing little deck just as spot on as my tarot deck...

i Havent found another deck that i can read with though

I thought that maybe my Ancestral Path would be good, It just tells me what is obvious. Not how to fix things.
which means to me this deck doesnt speak to me.

I am onto my Buckaland romani next, See how that reads ..

I have a few decks i can use for a bit.. but its just finding one that actually sings to me..
The Druidcraft is the only Deck that has done that..

This si why I am making my own deck, I am needing it to sing to me.
It will probably take me a good couple of years to finish.. But I am hoping it sings loud and clear when i am finished.
As i am intergrating druidism, Runic Lore, and Natures sign posts,
Whether it in the book or not.

It happens but very rarely to me. Try spreading them out on a windowsill and leaving them for 3 suns and 3 moons - that's what I got told and I do it once every few years .

Hi Dancing Bear. Have you tried cleansing your deck? Your may need to clear your cards from negative energy. There are several ways you can do this and many suggest to use the elements.

For the element of water, try lightly sprinking your cards with water, wipe them dry immediately. You can also bathe your deck in moonlight over night.

For fire you can light a candle and hold it on top of the deck (obviously not burning your cards) for five min. Also try passing cards one by one through burning incense (lavendar and frankincense is good)

Plant your cards in earth or sand for 24 hours or sprinkle sand on your deck.

Keep your cards close to a spiritual object, something that is close to you (crystals? locket? charm?)

Well i put my deck into retirement for a bit..
I think i was over the deck i was reading with for the moment. I am now going great guns with another deck.. The Legacy of the Divine.
Loving it!! readings are great.. a little more down to earth interpretations..
where as the other deck was a little bit open for interpretations.
This one seems to be more to the point..
( Or I do ) LOL!!

I think I need to be put in the full moon too!! recharge batteries LOL!!

I do like to blow sage smoke through my decks to cleanse them. Think i will do this too to add to the moons rays.
