Nuns not liking Tattoos????

I was watching a Ghost Adventures episode the other day and it mentioned that the Nuns in the hospital/convent they were investigating did not like men or Tattoos.
Of Course Zak gave us a beautiful view of his Tattoos , stirring up a response of a Nun In Spirit, her response is that he was " Sick" for having them.
Admittedly Zaks Tattoo does look like a demon with wings.. But it is a personal experience he got etched permanently onto his body. It must have been profound for him to do it.. each to their own I say, I am fascinated personally by what people choose to mark themselves with.. to me it is what we are choosing to expose whats on the inside, outwardly. Also a permanent reminder for the wearer.

Myself who has tattoos also ( about to get another) , dont get this way of thinking 'that its sick anyway'..

Why would certain Nuns not like tattoos?
In spirit they were quite violent towards men and people with Tattoos. Scratching them , pushing them and responding with "Its Sick"
Not religious so have no idea why Nuns would not like tattoos or even men. I know they take a vow of celibacy, but it doesn't mean they hate men, it is all about the sex not the men.
I guess i am going to have to research, Maybe its just personal choice for these particular Nuns??
anyone seen this episode its is in Season 7 ep 16 They seem to be reflecting and recapping on old episodes, probably taking a much needed break. It is very tiring and exhausting mentally and physically doing investigations.. and I can only imagine what these fellas go through.. its Crazy!

I think its silly. especially when priests would mortify the flesh or wear cilice clothing.
But each to their own!

Found the quote in the bible about Tattoos, Just out of interest I am posting it up..
For my own future reference i guess..

"You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD" (Leviticus 19:28).

Hmm Most of the men in my family about 5 of them have a Tattoo to mark the memorial of my Sisters Son Dylan who passed away aged 20 through drowning.
There are two females in my family to have Tattoo's ( My Niece and I). and I am getting more. No doubt my niece will too.
In some families it is part of who they are, Our family was full of sailors.. all had tattoos on their arms and calves, the younger generations are not sailors but grew up seeing tattoos as normal and ok!!..in Some families it is part of their culture and beliefs.. A lot of Buddhist Monks have tattoos. a lot of indigenous tribes mark themselves with Tattoos of significance.. each marking meanings something personal and spiritual.
My own tattoo is personal.

None of us have had tattoos to purposely disobey what is written in the bible..It is just part of our culture and an expression of who we are.. Free to be..
I absolutely respect those who truly believe that one should not tattoo their bodies. I respect their beliefs..

But going back to the segment where Zak and many people with Tattoos are sworn at and scratched by spirit Nuns, because they do have Tattoos. To me that is not a spiritual thing to do. Tolerance and acceptance of difference is a spiritual thing especially from a Nun.. Naughty girls!! Needs to be reminded of though shalt not judge.
