| I have spoken to the daughter of the owner today.. and she has gioven me more photgraphs fo this place and given me a few things that some of you picked up on.. I have been compiling a list of things that you all came up with for this house.. and weighing them up against the information i have received ... Can you please fi you remember what you all got..Post it up! Please.. I wrote a lot down , but missed a few things as i was also trying to tune into it.. I will give you a couple of days to do this, and in the meantime gatehr as much information about this house for you both from owners and from english archives.. when i did a personal reading for the daughter she said i had described this house to a tee.. and what had gone on in it.. I wish I could remember my readings I do remember seeing hounds, i rememeber seeing many horses.. I remember seeing a dominant man..and the period costume.. it is really freaky coz now i know what this mans name is and last night when i saw the bored mature woman.. I also saw her in my readings , so i was reminded today.. You will be amazed at how accurate you all were with what i did wirte down..especially those back steps Ming!! Spot on!! But i am sorry i am going to have to leave you in suspenders just for another couple of days.. while i do more research and post up some more pictures of the house i received today..In the meantime if you could please post up what you got in this picture..it would be much apprecciated. | |

| Two stone steps at back of the house, either down to a back kitchen or to the outside. I seem to be going up & downt hese stairs all day every day and I'm scared I twist an ankle! Stables & other buildings in a paved yard out the back . The railings were higher or there was a wall. It went all round the house. A dark man with whiskers & a beard, cruel man, hard. A murder or cruelty to a woman from a man... unhappiness for a woman in that house. A woman who stays back in the top floor rooms but looks out at the world. A younger man who stands silently in the garden next to the wall, waiting. Religion religion ! Not catholic, less frilly, but bleak and cold. A home or a school or something similar. Dark wooden floors covered in scapes. There was a road next to the house but it was dusty, not tarred. People travelled along it. If I remember anythign else I will add it. | |

| I've registered specially so's I can report back!!! OK . . . first of all, I should say that I showed John the photo and asked for his impressions, off the top of his head and he said: religion inheritance of money and something else . . . I can't remember! It may have been murder . . . I know it was something nasty and something we'd already got! What I remember of what I got is: - the mist over the right hand upper window and the smaller mist in the bushes, that looked a bit like a rainbow
- Puritans . . . English civil war period
- a little boy, blonde hair, sick with fever in an attic room
- fire . . . possibly curtains ablaze
- a young couple returning to the house after their marriage . . . and then tragedy striking . . . a riding accident, I think
- someone saw a mad old man and I then picked him up, seeing him slumped in a chair, long white hair, bald at the front, white shirt and black knee breeches
- someone saw a girl smoking a cigarette in one of the windows and I picked her up, seeing her in a nineteen twenties style white dress (possibly with a blue trim), bobbed reddish-gold hair, leaning her head against the window . . . a feeling of wistfulness. I felt that her lover had left her . . . perhaps for America and possibly against his will
- Ming's back steps - I saw them, but thought that they were of black brick rather than stone. I also saw red on them (?blood)
- a large kitchen with a huge open range/fireplace with a great black pot hanging over it, being stirred by a woman. She seemed a kind person, but she was unable to do anything for the family other than cook for them.
- outside the back door, a small greenhouse (rather run-down) on the left hand side and some other outbuilding straight ahead
- someone got an impression of one pleasant room and I saw a small, sunny breakfast room
- someone thought something was buried under the grass at the back and I thought it was a dog . . . a largish, light brown/golden haired dog . . . and, as I type this, I feel it was buried under or near a tree
- I wondered about the bushes . . . what they were trying to hide
- like Ming, the two halves of the house seemed me to be straining away from each other . . . I saw the left side seeming to sag and then the right half seeming to pull back
- I've just now had the impression of shutters . . . were there shutters on the windows at some time? Particularly on the left?
- I had the feeling that the problems with the house dated way back . . . perhaps to a previous house on the site . . . and perhaps to the 15th century (but that may be because BRI had talked about her story which had something to do with the 15th century).
- several of us got a young man standing in the bushes, but mine was wearing a hat and was smiling, so I don't think it was the same man that the others were picking up
- I also saw a slim woman, blonde or grey hair swept back, wearing a red or deep pink shimmering nineteen thirties style evening dress (figure hugging, low necked)
I think that was about it. If I think of anything else, I'll come back.

| yes, it was a great circle yesterday! had loads of fun. now, for what i can recall seeing/sensing
A young woman, short bobbed hair like from the 1920s era perhaps, or a bit earlier/ later. her head was cocked to the side when I saw her.
she was quite sad feeling to me. i felt like she was deserted or something and possibly also shut up in this home. unable to go out/leave. frightened. something major with her. perhaps a pregnancy when she was unmarried.
a slender built man roughly about 40yrs. old standing in yard by the tall green hedges in front. dark pants. dark all around him. he seemed very controlling and angry. hard. very cold hearted.
the kitchen was a large room, with a fireplace. in front of the fireplace was a table or counter, where yet another woman, graying hair stood, preparing something. slightly heavy set. nice feeling woman--not the anger or sadness like int the first two. she walked outside from the kitchen, and down 2 steps into the yard--a tree to the right that seemed like it had a slender trunk. could've been a fruit tree of some sort, but I do not think it was an apple tree. not sure if it was even a fruit tree.
this same woman walked straight ahead as to go into yet another building for something that was straight ahead of her from leaving th ekitchen by the back door. not sure what this bldg. stored.
I could also sense a spirit/haze in the left upper window. and then a haze in the 2nd middle window on the right side of hte bldg. just under the round window.
this is all i can recall getting right now.

| I have to say that what I found absolutely fascinating was the fact that so many of us were picking up on the same things. Good stuff!!! Longing to hear the story, DB! | |

| I was away this Wed, and yesterday we had a blackout. But today I managed to take a look at this picture, and some things appeared to me...
* the name Sarah B.
* the sound of fire. That cracking noise fire makes.
* and old woman, with a shawl and a head cap, a white one. She's cold and trembling.
* "Pansy"
* a sealed letter
* a masked party
* "a lost ring"
* a creek where children play

| - a young woman from a VERY long time ago (14th-15th c.) in great pain, something to do w/fire & violence - An old man, quite ga-ga but in great fear of something - 16th-c. clothes, white hair & blue eyes - A young woman circa about 1930 or so, sad over a lost love? - The same woman later in life, having settled for something she didn't want - bitter? - horses - a Victorian maid - a cook from circa about the same time or about 1900 who loved the children
I think that's about it.
OH - also I have to find the drawing that seemed so exactly like this house that I did MANY years ago...

| Do you think she's been spirited away, Ming?
Or is she just having fun, keeping us on tenterhooks?
Haunting isn't a bad idea . . . You're the expert at poking round other people's houses, so why not remote view your way in there and SHOUT LOUDLY IN HER EAR!

It's the fifth button from the left on the bottom row. - ming wrote:

ooooo em no it isnt this si the 5th button but I dont have a bottom row, just a top one !! WAAAAAH I have two rows of buttons . . . the one you've pressed is the fourth on the top row. The one you WANT is the one with two blue 'A's on it, one fainter than the other - it's between the button with what looks like a bookcase but, I think, is meant to represent a piece of film, and the one for colour, with lots of little squares of colour on it. Alternatively, you could just type in either end of your text for large size or for HUGE. On AT we'd have been told off long before now for going OT. But since DB ISN'T HERE, she can't tell us off.
